Gallery-scale prints up to 60 inches wide. The Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-6600 is a 60-inch, 12-color pigment inkjet printer for photographers, fine art studios, and print labs that need large-format photo and fine art reproductions without giving up fine detail. Canon's LUCIA PRO II pigment ink set delivers deep blacks, smooth tonal gradations, and a wide color gamut, and the Chroma Optimizer improves black density on art papers while adding scratch resistance.
Why the PRO-6600 stands out
-
12-color LUCIA PRO II pigment ink: Matte Black, Photo Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Grey, Photo Cyan, Photo Magenta, Photo Grey, Red, Blue, and Chroma Optimizer.
-
Built for lasting prints: Canon formulates the ink for high light resistance and high scratch resistance, so finished work is ready for sale, display, and long-term preservation.
-
Precision print head: The user-replaceable PF-10 print head has 18,432 nozzles (1,536 per color across 12 colors) and prints at up to 2400 x 1200 dpi, with a minimum droplet size of 4 pl.
-
Consistent color: Built-in color calibration keeps output consistent over time and across multiple imagePROGRAF PRO Series printers.
-
Intelligent media handling: Detects paper type, width, and remaining roll length automatically.
-
Self-monitoring print head: An ink sensing system watches nozzle ejection and runs an automatic alignment adjustment when it detects a problem.
-
Easy print inspection: Interior LED lighting lets you check prints in the printer, and translucent media and ink tank covers show what's loaded and what's left.
Media and paper handling
- Roll and cut-sheet widths from 6" to 60" (152.4 to 1524 mm), and media up to 0.8 mm thick.
- Free-size borderless printing on roll media.
- 2" or 3" roll cores (maximum roll diameter 170 mm), with the 3" paper core attachment included.
- Optional RU-63 roll unit for adding a second roll.
Connectivity and workflow

- Canon workflow software available as a web download, including Professional Print & Layout, PosterArtist, Free Layout Plus, Direct Print Plus, and Accounting Manager.
Ink tanks
Uses Canon PFI-3100 (160 ml), PFI-3300 (330 ml), and PFI-3700 (700 ml) ink tanks. The starter set includes 330 ml tanks, and the larger tanks lower your cost per milliliter on high-volume work.
